These Terms govern your use of coolpfp.com (“Cool PFP”, “the Service”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

Cool PFP provides a directory of profile pictures (PFPs) for personal use as avatars on platforms such as Discord, TikTok, Instagram, and similar services. Features, content, and availability may change. Free downloads and optional paid products (such as HD packs) may both be offered.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use Cool PFP on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

Accounts and purchases

Browsing and downloading free PFPs does not require an account. If you buy a paid pack or other product, you agree to provide accurate payment information and to pay the stated price. Digital purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law.

Licence to use images from Cool PFP

Unless a specific page or paid product says otherwise, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use images from Cool PFP as a personal profile picture or avatar. This licence does not include:

  • Reselling, relicensing, or redistributing our image files as a standalone product or stock pack
  • Using images as a trademark, logo, or brand identity for a business without separate permission
  • Claiming authorship of AI-generated or third-party works hosted on Cool PFP
  • Any use that infringes third-party intellectual property rights

Platforms where you set an avatar may have their own rules; you are responsible for complying with them.

Fan-art, anime, and third-party IP

Some images on Cool PFP depict styles, characters, or aesthetics inspired by anime, games, comics, or other popular media. Many are AI-generated or fan-art style. Cool PFP does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, characters, or copyrighted designs. Rights in those underlying works remain with their respective owners.

If you are a rights holder and believe content on Cool PFP infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, please send a takedown request (below). We will review good-faith notices and remove or restrict content where appropriate.

Takedown and rights contact policy

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Rights / Takedown Request”. Please include:

  1. Your full name, organisation (if any), and a working email address
  2. A description of the copyrighted or trademarked work you own or represent
  3. The exact Cool PFP URL(s) of the allegedly infringing page or image
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and (under penalty of perjury where applicable) that you are authorised to act for the owner
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is acceptable)

We may share your notice with the uploader or generator workflow operator where relevant, and we may request clarification before acting. Counter-notices may be submitted to the same address if you believe material was removed in error. Repeat infringement may lead to broader removal of related content.

This process is intended to help us respond quickly to rights holders. It does not limit any legal remedies available under applicable law (including DMCA or equivalent regimes).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, bulk-download, or overload the Service in a way that harms performance or other users
  • Attempt to break security, inject malware, or probe non-public systems
  • Use Cool PFP content for unlawful, hateful, or deceptive purposes
  • Misrepresent that Cool PFP or The Ramen Club endorses your product or views

Ads and third-party links

The Service may show third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense) and links to other sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and analytics work.

Disclaimer

Cool PFP is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that images are free of third-party claims, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Ramen Club and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of Cool PFP. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Ramen Club and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory rights to bring claims in their home courts.
